Remediation verification
Independent check that corrective work on a compliance reporting application actually closed the findings.
Purpose
After you change mappings, strengthen evidence retention, or retrain override procedures, someone outside the project team should confirm the fix holds under realistic conditions. Remediation verification re-runs the relevant tests and records whether each finding is closed, partially closed, or still open.
Boundary
We verify against the original finding language. Expanding into new packs or a fresh full audit is a separate engagement.
